Feeling attractive is a pleasure for many. Fashionable brands are now trending for their ethical approach to crafting innovative designs. Here are our top selections for the most appealing and stylish small brands. Promoting small sustainable companies is something we’re passionate about—it’s the sustainable way forward!
EmMeMa
Em.Me.Ma captured my attention from the start. Upon discovering her “Ultimate Cuddle Wear” I instantly felt more attractive. It was a surprise to learn that her products are crafted from organic cotton and recycled nylon. Each item is meticulously handmade by the Canadian owner and designer, Emily Ma. Her selection of prints and patterns exudes a soft yet alluring charm. Her collection spans a variety of bralettes, underwear, boxer briefs, swimsuits, adorable baby onesies, and more. Promoting her work is challenging because there’s a temptation to keep it exclusive, but that approach isn’t sustainable. Her creations are available for purchase in her Etsy store. Additionally, she offers valuable insights into sustainable fashion on her Facebook and Instagram pages. Importantly, 5% of the proceeds are donated to the Wildlife Preservation Canada organization. Checking out her shop is an easy decision.
“After several years of dabbing her (Emily Ma – Owner/designer) toes into almost everything to do with fashion, and sewing, she has narrowed down her maker’s inhibition to creating eco-conscious underwear and altering/ revamping textile to reduce the impact of our landfills.”
Lotis Tribe Clothing
Lotis Tribe is dedicated to reducing its impact on the environment, providing an alternative to synthetic fast fashion. Their eco-friendly focus is applied through the sustainable materials used as well as their production practices. Their newest collection is entirely spandex free. Their tie die variations are handmade and are beacons of uniqueness. Their garments are also made in small batches. Our favorites are their plant-based yoga pants and upcycled patch overalls. Their concern for the health of our planet does not stop with eco conscious clothing materials but they also use plastic free packaging. To top it off the Lotus Tribe has a spectacular Tree Planting Initiative, planting a tree for every item sold. As of Spring 2024 Lotus Tribe has planted over 28,000 trees!
“When you shop with us, you know it’s always an ethically made item from a plant-based fabric. Sustainable, vegan and cruelty free. Planting one tree for item sold in partnership with TreeSisters! Shipping will be carbon neutral, in compostable plastic free packaging. Earth friendly always.“
